Moving to Ann Arbor has meant finding all of those "good guys" and reliable spots to get things done. Lou at Convenience is one of those guys! My Toyota Corolla had slowly developed an engine vibration over a few months, and when I took it to the local Toyota dealer on Jackson Road, they charged me $100 to tell me that it needed over $1,000 worth of work. Lou diagnosed the problem (a failed motor mount) in minutes and estimated the repair for much less than the dealer. The work and and charges were as promised, and he even adjusted the driver's door latch (which made the door hard to close, but I hadn't bothered to mention to him), for no extra charge. Convenience will be my regular maintenance shop now!

Eric, thanks for taking the time to write this, and for the good words...

I was told that this is the shop to use if you're a woman and don't know anything about cars. I'm always nervous that they will overcharge me and fix things that don't need any work. This shop has made me feel very confident. They have fixed small things for free, the prices are always reasonable, and they do a good job of explaining to me what they fixed.

Amy, you made my day. Thanks for the kind words. We will continue to go the extra mile for you!

I had my Honda serviced at Convenience Auto this week, and couldn't be more pleased. They finished my car on time, and the price was fair, and a little less than they estimated. I'll use them again.

Thurman, you are the best! Thank you. I Appreciate your business.

I went in here for the first time because it seems like the parking lot is always FULL. I now see why. They are friendly and very fair on the repair. I feel I now have a trusted place to go. They were able to fix an intermittent issue that had been bugging me (and my previous shop couldn't fix). It's clean and comfortable inside.

Best mechanic that I've ever used in the U.S. Professional staff. Excellent and timely service. Great value. They care about you as a customer and your car. Highly recommend. Um discount.

Took my Audi here for 7 years. And let me tell you...owning an Audi is a great way to get to know a mechanic shop. A friend recommended them to me when the Audi was about go off warranty. (He called them "gearheads," a term of endearment amongst car guys). The first thing they fixed they did for half the price of the dealership. But they really are not a cut-rate shop; they are professionals charging a fair price, but are also just great guys. Now that I have a Subaru I don't see them as often, but they knew that would happen and still recommended that I buy a Subaru. I have friends who have taken all kinds of American cars to them, too. And they'll take you to work and pick you up, too. Look no further for your mechanic.

After another auto repair place couldn't diagnose my car troubles, I went here based on a co-workers glowing review. I had a great experience! Everyone there was very knowledgable and friendly. My problem was diagnosed and fixed in no time. Fairly priced too. Will go back and recommend to my friends.

I have to say that I really like these guys. I am a teacher at Skyline High School. These guys have really been great. They have a shuttle service to take me to school and pick me up afterwards. Their prices are fair, and they always take the time to explain things in a way that are easy to understand. They don't try and sell you something you don't need. As I woman, I don't always feel that repair shops in town treat me with the respect that these guys do. I highly recommend Lou and the team. Mary

I recently took my son's Ford Focus to Convenience Auto based upon a friend's recommendation and I was very pleased with the service that I received. The car needed some major repairs which were explained to me in terms that I could understand. I can't remember the name of the gentleman with whom I spoke but he was very professional, courteous and honest. His estimate was actually a bit higher than the actual cost and the car was ready when he said it would be. A few days after the repairs were done, my son reported that he heard strange noises coming from the car. We took the car back in for a check, and they couldn't find anything wrong. They said that if he hears the noises again he can just drive the car over anytime and they would look at it. I would definitely return to Convenience Auto for future repairs and I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for professional, honest mechanics.
