Outstanding Maintenance!

We have used Convenience, Jewett location for both our vehicles with great satisfaction several times. This past Wednesday I left work only to find my car wouldn't start. I work in walking distance so I walked over and was greeted by Larry. I explained what was going on so he sent Zac with the portable jumper cables and Zac was able to get my car started so we could drive it over to the shop. Within minutes they had diagnosed that I needed a new battery. They were very quick to get the battery ordered and understood that my time was really valuable, fortunately, it was just a battery and they had it ordered and replaced in a very short time. I really, really appreciate that they were able to do all this with no notice or appointment or even a call with a heads up that I was coming in. They are always professional and courteous and I never feel like they are trying to sell me something I don't need. I stopped going to the dealership and started getting all of our service done on our vehicles because of this and the fact that they always work us into their schedule. This is not the first occasion that I've gone to them with a short notice and they have always done what they could for me. Thanks guys and ladies!

I am from Ohio and was visiting my friend in Ann Arbor, when my Prius started running horribly. It was Sunday, so I left my car and key at the Liberty Street location. I borrowed a car and hoped for the best. On Monday morning, Corky called me, told me what the problem was and said he would fix it that day. And they did. I picked up the car on Wednesday, and everything was great. This is the best mechanic shop and experience I have ever had. I wish I lived in Ann Arbor!

I have had my 4 Subarus all serviced by Lou since 1986 when I first moved to town. I felt so comfortable with his explanations of what was wrong, or what might be a problem soon from what he could see that I have not taken any car to anyone else except the first month after he opened Convenience as I didn't know where he was. I wouldn't buy any other car when he was still at Subaru, but still won't. My 1986 went 255,000 miles before I gave it away to someone who used it another year; my 1993 Impreza went 345,000 before one of the mechanics at Subaru bought it for a family member--and I met her 2 years later when she saw my name on a purchase I made at her place of work. I still have a 2000 Outback sedan with 380,000 and running fine as a second car. They are currently taking care of my 2012 Legacy and Lou is great about telling you what needs to be repaired to fix problem that maybe isn't serious yet. But I don't want to be stuck on road anywhere. I drive a lot and love to take trips. We actually drove the 2000 home from New Mexico with an overheating radiator problem by never getting stuck in traffic after talking to Lou on phone explaining what was happening--. If temperature gauge started going up, we stopped until we could move smoothly again. We did have to get off highway and take back roads a couple exits in Missouri where there was an accident problem So I feel confident driving knowing my mechanic watches for where a part is starting to show wear and need replacing before it breaks down completely. Go Convenience Auto!!!

The first establishment that has inspired me to write an online review of any kind. Terrific balance of friendliness and professionalism. The folks there are highly knowledgeable and keep their customers well informed, and their work is both thorough and efficient. Extremely affordable as well each individual service is reasonably priced, and nothing unnecessary will be tacked onto your bill. Overall, a group of people that clearly enjoy and take pride in what they do. And it shows; its not often that getting your car looked at can be a highlight of your day.

Garrett, thanks for the kind words. We will always do our best to live up your expectations. Have a great day.

Needed to switch out my license plate for a new one, but the screws were rusted on and I could not do it. Convenience Auto removed the old plate (including drilling to remove the screw that had broken off inside the car) and put the new one on, all at no charge. The guys in there were fantastic and I highly recommend Convenience Auto.

Thanks for taking the time to post this response. All of us here at Convenience Auto try our best every day to keep our customers (and their cars) safe ! Glad to help out with this.

Convenience is the new owner of PAT and appears to be continuing the former shop's tradition of extremely reliable and competent service. The shuttle service makes it very easy to get my car serviced. I appreciate their checking tires, coolant, etc. whenever I bring it in.
